Time in Grade Requirement FOR TEMPORARY PROMOTION: Applicants must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the GS-9 level or equivalent. APPLICANTS DO NOT NEED TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT IF APPLYING FOR A DETAIL.
