    As a Special Assistant, you will:

    • Serve as a liaison for matters of importance that cross a wide range of substantive program and organizational responsibilities and respond to requests.
    • Define, lead, and execute special projects and assignments concerning high-level program operations, infrastructure and policy issues brought to the immediate attention of the supervisor and/or the President.
    • Provide advice to supervisor regarding the effectiveness of the current program, operations, and infrastructure as well as the need for new improved program features and recommended policy initiatives, and related implementations.
    • Prepare special reports on Ginnie Mae's program, operations and infrastructure functions and work in collaboration and partnership with other key principal stakeholders within Ginnie Mae for the purpose of obtaining information or other material necessary to accomplish assignments.
    • Present the views of Ginnie Mae in correspondence and other communications within Ginnie Mae, with HUD managers and program officials, and other government agencies, and with a wide array of external stakeholders (domestic and foreign).

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 1 to 5 nights per month.
