As a Supervisory Equal Employment Manager at the GS-0260-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
· Serves as the Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (DEEO) reporting directly to the Director, DHRA; Responsible for administering and managing the EEO Complaints Program, Affirmative Employment Plan (AEP), Special Emphasis Program (SEP), Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program and the Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Program.
· Provides leadership and direction in the formulation, execution and management of policies governing the administration of EEO compliance and diversity programs for DHRA and serviced components.
· Serves as the DHRA representative on DoD-wide and inter-agency councils, committees and task forces with authority to address and converse on issues relating to assigned functional areas.
· Conducts in-depth research to compile statistical analysis, prepare narrative reports, charts/graphs and briefs the DHRA Director on issues eliminating the element of surprise for DHRA senior management officials.
· Provides advice to senior management staff, key officials and the serviced population on information concerning EEO activities, events, policies and directives from the EEOC and proposed legislation concerning any anti-discrimination federal law.
· Manages the coordination and development of EEO, ADR, anti-harassment and reasonable ccommodation training for senior executives, managers, supervisors and employees through workshops and seminars on various program topics such as diversity and inclusion, prevention of harassment, EEO laws/process and conflict resolution.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
