    Responsibilities

    As a Program Support Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

    • Provide or obtain a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the Office of the Director, National Centers for Environmental Prediction’s Environmental Monitoring Center.
    • Assist requisitioners in assembling procurement packages; record requisitions in the NOAA C.Request system; and process invoices for payment, including handling receipts, logging, obtaining approval, and submitting to Finance.
    • Monitor financial transactions; acquire financial data and records; and record financial data in reports, forms, or database systems.
    • Provide administrative assistance, including filing electronic and hard copy documents, processing mail, ordering supplies or services, filling out forms, and addressing administrative questions through email or in person.

    NOTE: The duties above describe the position at the full performance level of GS-11, the duties at the GS-9 level are developmental leading to such performance.
