The incumbent will be a full-time non-invasive Staff Cardiologist with dual appointment as clinical faculty with the University of Louisville. There is flexibility to be either full-time VA or part-time VA with the remainder of full-time employment through the University. This VA is one of the main teaching centers for University of Louisville School of Medicine, with both fellowship and residency supervision and educational duties. The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Outpatient supervision of fellows and resident clinics
- Inpatient resident-run cardiology service, in rotation with other faculty
- Echocardiography interpretation including transesophageal studies
- Stress testing interpretation including treadmill, echo, and myocardial perfusion imaging
- Holter and event monitor interpretation
