    This position is located in the Supervisors Office of the Dixie National Forest in Cedar City UT.

    Responsibilities include facilitating and supporting partnership and collaborative work across the forest.

    Responsibilities

    Duties listed are at the full performance level.

    Responsible for the development, maintenance, and health of the partnership program on the Forest. Provides advice, counsels, and assists staff across the Forest regarding partnership development (partner cultivation, relationship building, and identifying mutual benefits) and implementation (agreement development, monitoring and reporting). Develops complex, politically sensitive or programmatic partnership efforts with non-governmental organizations, other government agencies, community organizations, and/or other local or regional stakeholders.

    Fosters community based partnerships. Provides technical leadership in developing partnership programs. Develops and maintains effective external cooperative relationships with government agencies, colleges/universities, non-governmental organizations, conservation groups, private foundations and others interested in partnering with the Forest Service.

    Coordinates the volunteer and service program, which includes communications with districts, process and policy development, and reporting oversight.

    Serves as a liaison representing the Forest to several stakeholders and partners in the region. Distributes grant information to employees and partners.

    Produces marketing materials, briefing papers, fact sheets, news releases, position statements, key messages, partnership surveys, web and social media content, and other information products as required to support the program.
