    The successful selectee for this position must perform the following duties;

    Provide Cost Estimating, Acquisition Support, EVM and Schedule analysis to Navy acquisition programs

    Work with cost analyst team to perform independent cost engineering and cost analysis of Navy programs by translating technical requirements into cost information

    Develop and/or evaluate program technical and programmatic baselines

    Support DoD decision makers by providing actionable information that optimizes use of DoD budget resources

    Perform analysis to help Navy leadership make good decisions concerning cost and schedule over the life cycle of Navy programs

    Translate system/functional requirements associated with programs, projects, proposals, or processes into budget requirements

    Determine and communicate a realistic view of the likely cost outcome for a program

    Work may include parametric cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationships and model development, cost risk analysis, performance measurement (earned value), Contract planning, Cost/Price analysis, project forecasting and risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost estimating

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
