Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
Works with journalists, broadcasters, digital strategists and other users to understand needs, develop technical requirements, and advocates that vision to the software team;
Designs, develops and maintains software that delivers innovation and seamlessly integrates with the existing system;
Designs and generates code following data governance, software coding and design standards, applicable vendor's literature;
Designs, codes, and debugs software components and subcomponents/modules to support development of the user interface, Web, mobile, IoT, and social distribution platforms;
Assist other programmers, data scientists, and journalists in developing programs for the VOA and BBG entities.
