Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates all of the following experience: 1) Assisting higher level security personnel in conducting security inspections; 2) Assisting in the development and review of DD254s; and 3) Assisting in the processing of security investigations/clearances. Examples of qualifying experience may include the following: 1) Conducting security inspections and surveys of designated areas to ensure compliance with established requirements; 2) Performing assessments of prospective employees to determine eligibility for assignment to sensitive positions; 3) Analyzing and providing recommendations towards security issues and concerns; 4) Ensuring the necessary clearances are initiated for military and civilian personnel by obtaining personal history statements and fingerprints; and 5) Reviewing contract documentation to ensure all requirements are incorporated as necessary.
