These positions are located in field sites away from the Regional Offices to which assigned, but within the geographic jurisdiction of the Regional Offices in the Economic Development Administration (EDA), Department of Commerce. The incumbents will assist economically-distressed areas of the United States in stimulating industrial and commercial growth, and serve as the first line of contact on development activity related to all Economic Development Administration (EDA) programs.
