    Responsibilities

    As a SUPERVISORY INVESTIGATOR, GS-1810-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Provides leadership, oversight, and management to a staff of government investigators, contractors, military investigators, and defense team support staff;
    • Serves on a defense team representing detainees charged with war crimes before military commissions;
    • Ensures all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets the mission and goals of the organization and assigned defense team;
    • Represents detainees charged with war crimes before a military commissions;
    • Conducts expert analysis of all phases of the defense case to determine the appropriate investigative steps.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
