This is a Recent Graduate position in the Pathways Program. This position is in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, located in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
The program duration is one year and upon successful completion of the program requirements, the incumbent may be converted to a term, career or, career conditional position.
Farm Loan Specialists are required to successfully complete all of the requirements of the Farm Loan Training Program. A Farm Loan Speicalist may be reassigned to another training office during their training program. In addition, upon completion of training program, FLOs may be reassigned, at any time, to a different duty station if workload activity changes or vacancies occur.
This position assists the Farm Loan Manager in administering farm loan programs in a USDA Service Center serving one or more Counties.You must be a U.S. Citizen/National/U.S. Permanent Resident to apply.
Recent Graduates who have completed a qualifying degree within the previous two years. Veterans precluded from applying due to their military service obligation must be appointed within 6 years of receiving their degree. Current students may apply if they are within 4 months of graduation.
CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REPORT: At the GS-11 level, you will be required to submit Form OGE-450 within 30 days of your initial appointment date, and annually thereafter. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND FINGERPRINT CHECK: Selection and retention in this position is contingent upon a successfully adjudicated FBI National Criminal History Check (fingerprint check) and a background investigation. Favorable results of the fingerprint check, review of the OF-306, Declaration for Federal Employment, and the candidate’s Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP) entries have been reviewed and determined to be satisfactory. This position requires a favorable credit check as part of the background investigation.

Eligibility Requirements:
Student Status: Applicants must have completed a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctoral or technical/vocational degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution within the previous two years from the application deadline.

Reemployment Priority List (RPL), Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) or Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP): If you are claiming RPL/CTAP/ICTAP eligibility, provide a copy of your most recent annual performance appraisal (at least "fully successful" or equivalent), and proof of eligibility, i.e., a RIF separation notice or Certification of Expected Separation, and SF-50 noting current position, grade level, and duty location.
