    Responsibilities

    This position serves as the Director, Quality Assurance Service within the Office of Programs and Plans. The Quality Assurance Service provides support to CFM by carrying out an independent quality assurance (QA) program for CFM's business lines. The Director provides leadership for QA teams scheduling and implementing independent audits of contract administration. The incumbent manages a wide range of assignments including business planning, quality assurance reviews, and audits to assess and report on the quality of project management and contract administration. Manages the standardization of business planning, marketing, processes, practices and reporting. Establishes and implements goals and objectives, providing statistical analysis, workload projections and reporting. Oversees or personally conducts studies on the quality of project management and contract administration and develops annual and multi-year (long-range) strategies and performance measures to improve the processes and establish benchmarks. Through the application of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, verifies adherence to quality assurance plans and requirements. Consults with technical experts to develop meaningful and effective quality program objectives for the organization's complex core business areas. Manages a staff of Procurement Specialists, General Engineers and Management Analysts providing advice, counsel and instruction; effects disciplinary measures, hears and resolves complaints.

    Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
