-Responsible for the physical security control and record keeping of all United States Government (USG) property at Defensive Equipment and Armored Vehicle Division facilities, to include management of the inventory of special protective equipment, custody, care, and safekeeping of all non-expendable property assigned to custodial areas.
-Conducts all phases of inventory management, including annual inventory reconciliations, audit reporting, and daily tasks related to accounting for receipts, disposals, life circle, and all other facets of reporting on capitalized and non-capitalized assets.
-Function as the Principal Custodial Officer for Defensive Equipment and Armored Vehicle Division assets contained in the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) or Secure Integrated Logistics Management System (S-ILMS).
-Prepares and submits an annual operational budget, manage the budget and reports on progress made and challenges encountered.
-Develops operating and performance standards for supply functions, analyzes a wide variety of supply management date to evaluate effectiveness of agency supply criteria for key commodity categories. Provides enhanced customer support by the use of computerized order tracking and remote data access.
-Participates in the planning and coordination of Defensive Equipment and Armored Vehicle Division comprehensive logistics operational plan. Reviews ongoing maintenance of baseline contingency plans to ensure that they are current with changing priorities and flexible enough to allow rapid modification, due to rapidly changing conditions.
