Performs a wide range of administrative functions including procurement and distribution of administrative supplies and equipment, printing, reproduction, property management, space management, records management, mail service, facilities and equipment maintenance and transportation.
Operates motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds up to 26,000 pounds. Vehicles are driven for long and short hauls to transport and pick up articles, supplies, materials, and occasionally personnel. In addition to traveling throughout the depot, driver operates vehicle on public roads at highway speeds on a regular and recurring basis. Vehicles are sometimes driven through congested areas where drivers must exercise caution when backing to load or unload at docks, ramps, or similar locations. Assures that cargo is properly located, distributed, and secured, and that vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity. Checks material loaded or delivered against various documents to verify quantities. In addition to obtaining signatures from receiving personnel, operator signs for materials as required. On occasion may operate special equipment such as manual winches and tie-downs. Performs preventive maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations. Completes trip tickets including the preventive maintenance portion.
Must be able to lift packages weighing 10 pounds and up to 60 pounds.
Assists in Emergency Action Response activities in the event of emergencies and or closures at the AOC.
Must follow all relevant Office of Compliance and OSHA safety rules, regulations and standard operating procedures.
