These positions are located in the Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Transportation and Climate Division, State Measures and Transportation Planning Center, in Ann Arbor, MI.

At the entry level of this position, you will:
- As an Agency expert, provide a national regulatory framework that supports mobile source programs, including vehicle inspection/maintenance and fuel programs;
- Lead efforts to reduce emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases through training, guidance, and technical and policy support;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of mobile source programs and emission reduction strategies considered for future state and local investment;
- Communicate mobile source programs, policies, data, and technical analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
