Procurement Analyst/ PD# 44001-A
The position serves as a lead analyst on complex proposal evaluations; coordinates different inputs to form comprehensive reports and assists contracting officer/specialist in resolving costs and accounting issues. Serves as advisor and senior price negotiator to contracting teams and acquisition review boards and/or committees; consults with contractor personnel, engineers, cost estimators, administrative and shop personnel to determine that cost decisions are in the best interest of the government; attends conferences between the contracting officer/specialists and contractors relative to pricing actions, and presents reasons for arriving at determination of allowable costs and recommendations made; assists contracting officer/specialist in negotiations on the most complex acquisitions; and also serves on Affordability and Strategic Integrations Team and Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) as requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The subject position is primarily of an administrative nature in an office setting, however where travel to work sites is required there may be light physical work required, such as walking over uneven surfaces, or assisting technical personnel in taking measurements or elevations. Government travel for training, meetings, or customer interactions will be required in this position.
