Salary Information:
GS-09: $56,233-$73,105 per annum.GS-11: $68,036-$88,450 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
The incumbent is responsible for analyzing projects as they relate to the International Technical Assistance Program. (ITAP).
This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available.
This is a full-time, TERM appointment not to exceed 13 months. May be extended up to 4 years in increments of 1 year or less.
NOTE: This is a TERM appointment. Appointments to this position, will not convey permanent status in the Federal service and will be for a period not to exceed (NTE) 13 months with the possibility of extension up to a total of (4) four years in increments of 1 year or less.
The Office of the Secretary has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.

Experience: : To qualify for the GS-09, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as documented experience: 1.) Communicate with a variety of stakeholders about natural resources management (such as law enforcement on public lands, habitat/wildlife conservation, or energy generation) in the United States and how its principles can be applied abroad.2.) Assist with the implementation of financial and project management projects related to environmental and conservation issues. 3) Provide technical guidance on global energy and environmental issues and make recommendations on how governments can work with counterparts and civil society for effective action; OR,

ALL applicants must meet the requirements for the GS-11 level by one of the following means:
