The FFSP mission is to provide unified, customer-focused, consistent, and efficient programs and services to support sustained operational, personal, and family readiness. The FFSP provides information and referral services, prevention based education and training, non-medical clinical counseling and advocacy to facilitate mission readiness through personal and family readiness, resilience, and self-sufficiency. FFSP provides the right services at the right time to strengthen personal and family competencies to meet the unique challenges of the military lifestyle. CNIC Headquarters (HQ) personnel develop policy execution guidance, programs, materials, and curricula to ensure that Sailors and their families consistently receive quality services from enterprise-wide Fleet and Family Support Centers (FFSCs). The 16 Core/Baseline Fleet and Family Support Programs and services are grouped into three major functional areas Family Readiness, Navy Gold Star, and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR). The majority of the programs fall under the Core Family Readiness functional area and include sub-categories Career Support and Retention, Deployment Support, Crisis Response (Clinical Counseling and Emergency Response). This position is established to analyze, evaluate and advise management on the effectiveness of line programs and/or the efficiency of the management of assigned programs. This position is responsible for the full range of assigned responsibilities associated with the Navy’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program.
