About the Position: The Management Analyst, NH-0343-02 position is located in the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC), at Arlington County, Virginia. This is a career program 26 position. The USAASC is a Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) supporting the Army's acquisition mission through superior personnel development systems and management support capabilities, enabling the most effective and efficient equipping of the Nation's forces while maintaining an internal culture of constant organizational improvement. Additionally, the DRU provides oversight for the execution of the force protection mission by the PEOs, subject matter expertise and analytical support to various DoD elements, and acquisition career management support to the acquisition workforce. As a Management Analyst you will serve issuing manpower guidance based on the Headquarters Department of Army Program and Budget Guidance. Guides and advises management regarding diverse manpower issues and independently develops wide-ranging alternatives to address or de-conflict manpower issues. Responsible for integrating agency missions, functions, policies and procedures to solve a variety of human resources and management support problems. Provides guidance and advice for manpower management functions to ensure they are provided accurate guidance in the review and analysis of requirements. Gathers, analyzes and develops operational, manpower, and historical data to prepare a variety of reports.
