    Summary

    This position serves as the District Engineer located in Lawton, Oklahoma. This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise engineering, technical and administrative field environmental engineer staff by providing technical direction, assigning work, developing performance standards and ratings, and taking disciplinary actions as necessary.
    • Serve as the Professional Engineer in charge of all final work products for the District Office. Provide Professional Engineering review of proposed and final designs of sanitation facilities.
    • Serve as Contracting Officer's Representative for government contracts.
    • Oversee project budgets, review pay requests, and ensure timely payment for expenditures.
    • Oversee projects to ensure timely completion of construction, ensure procurement regulations are adhered to, and ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
    • Establish, develop, and ensure adherence to Sanitation Facilities Construction program guidelines.
    • Ensure Sanitation Facilities Construction database is up to date and entries are made in a timely fashion.
