The value streams support the program offices and case management systems associated with Bankruptcy, District, and Appellate Courts. The Release Train Engineer is responsible for facilitating continuous improvement within delivery and the maturation of Agile practices within software requirements for all CMSO products and works with the Release Manager, Agile teams, Branch Chiefs, the Division Chief, and stakeholders across CMSO, the AO, and multiple offices and customers nationwide.
The incumbent will be required to lead and provide guidance, in areas throughout the entire software cycle in a customer-focused environment where high-quality deliverables must be met on time and operations are considered critical. The applications environment is 24/7/365 and work may be required outside of normal business hours. The incumbent will lead several Agile teams (both government employees and contractors). The incumbent will be required to lead teams working across the country in multiple locations. The teams may also consist of developers, testers, analysts, and documentation specialists working in various federal offices around the country. The current technical environment includes Informix, SQL Server, .Net, Java, and Perl. This is a hands-on, high-profile position and will require interactions with courts, and administrative staff in both a technical and business perspective.
