    This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract position. You do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position.

    This position is located in the Assistant Director for Training, Office of Anti-terrorism Assistance Program, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, in Dunn Loring, Virginia. The incumbent serves as the Financial Management Specialist, responsible for administrating the overall execution for budget activities for ATA domestic and foreign programs.

    This position is eligible for situational telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).

    -Reviews and approves procurement requests, travel authorizations, contractor acquisition forms and other proposed program expenditures.

    -Reconciles financial plans execution data, which is entered into the Counter terrorism Program Management Information System (CTPMIS). Analyzes and reconciles financial documents.

    -Administers the Budget and Finance Unit's database (B&F) to track the status on commitments, obligations, expenditure residuals and re-obligations.

    -Analyze vouchers, invoices, claims and other requests for payments, goods, or services for accuracy , adequacy and correct contractual references.

    -Administrates the Budget and Finance Unit’s database (B&F) to track the status on commitments, obligations, expenditure residuals and re-obligations.

    -Prepares financial reports for vendors, expenses and obligations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Domestic and overseas travel may be required.
