As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for working closely with our software developers and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable services that help maintain system availability in a cloud-based infrastructure. You will also be involved in all levels of design, development and delivery of these applications and infrastructure in addition to helping define the ever evolving standards and software solutions in a rapidly developing space.

The Office of Acquisition IT Services provides development, operational and management services for GSA Acquisition IT applications and advises FAS leadership and program areas on IT tools that support and enhance GSA’s Acquisition functions.

An IT Project Manager:

The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590 per year.

you must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS. Specialized experience is defined as experience with designing, developing and delivering complex software and IT systems in virtualized cloud environments such Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Cl/CD) concepts, terminology and using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Chef/Ansible, etc; Highly proficient in Java, Javascript, Spring and Shell scripting; Experience with Open Source technology stack and microservices architecture; Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment; Experience with web server configuration, monitoring, trending, network design and high availability.
