    Summary

    The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) Imaging Service, affiliated with the Loma Linda University Medical School, is seeking a highly qualified Radiologist to join their team. The radiologist will be expected to interpret a high volume of studies in a timely fashion and be able to adjust to all facets of the Imaging service for a successful interpretation, implementation and dictation of imaging exams.

    Responsibilities

    The position requires the radiologist to perform breast MRI, stereotactic breast biopsy, Ultrasound/MRI guided breast biopsy, and needle localization. This position also requires the radiologist to provide didactic care in the Imaging service including Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, diagnostic imaging (including fluoroscopy).

    The Radiology section is closely affiliated with Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and responsible for fellowship, resident and medical student training. It is expected that the applicant is qualified to be faculty at the affiliated medical school and to participate in supervisory roles in Radiologist-Diagnostic fellowship and residency programs. Research experience and the ability to attract grant funding is highly desirable.

    Work Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Rotating weekend and evening coverage as required by the Service.
