NSF is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Director within the Communications and Information Foundations (CIF) program, Division of Communication and Computing Foundations (CCF), Directorate for Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering (CISE), Alexandria, VA.
CCF supports research and education activities that explore the foundations and limits of computing and communication devices; seek advances in computing and communication theory, algorithms, and architecture and design of computers and software; investigate revolutionary computing models and technologies based on emerging scientific ideas; and integrate research and education activities to prepare future generations.
CCF is seeking a Program Director to manage NSF-sponsored activities across the breadth of CIF program areas. The CIF program supports research and education projects that strengthen the intellectual foundations of communications and information theory and signal processing in a variety of types of networks such as sensor networks, wireless and multimedia networks, biological networks, and networks of quantum devices.
