    You will serve as a Technician in the Materials & Manufacturing Technician Division of CARDEROCK DIV NS. As Technician, you will manage assigned laboratory space, instrumentation and ancillary equipment associated with additive manufacturing technologies. Provide technical support to projects assigned. Schedule all work in assigned laboratory. Train new technicians and junior engineers. Maintain equipment and instrumentation associated with assigned laboratories.

    • You will provide technical oversight.
    • You will develop concepts, practices and theories of one or more engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, materials, structural) or equivalent.
    • You will work with Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) equipment, processes and procedures.
    • You will perform analytical and/or numerical modeling of manufacturing processes.
    • You will conceive, propose, plan, conduct, and report on facilities management.
    • You will utilize equipment to characterize material properties.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel up to 25% or more for this position.
