About the Position: The Labor & Delivery Unit provides a wide spectrum of obstetrical & labor care by obstetrical/gynecological specialty physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, obstetrical registered nurses, LPNs, and administrative staff. The Unit provides comprehensive family-centered care to all beneficiaries and their family members. Performs a variety of RN duties (assessing/managing patients' physical condition and progress through the L&D process.

The selected candidate will also act as the patient advocate and collaborate with fellow members of the Labor & Delivery care team. The candidate is also expected to provide education and support to the patients and their family members. This position requires rotating shift work to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
