THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS OPEN AND CONTINUOUS. Qualified applicants may be referred as early as 6/21/18 after which, names will be pulled every two weeks until all positions are filled. ResponsibilitiesThe position's primary duties will be to triage and take action as appropriate on telephone requestsfrom all pharmacy customers including Veterans, caregivers, nurses, providers, and externalcustomers such as nursing homes. They must process patient's requests appropriately, applyingknowledge of pharmacy practice, VA regulations, and hospital procedure, seeking assistance fromclinical sta?? for urgent concerns. To assure that patients receive quality care in a timely fashion, thepharmacy technician must maintain a working knowledge of all pharmacy systems and processes.Possibility of commute between duty stations on an occasional basis.
