- Perform preparation of histological sections of patient and laboratory animal specimens requiring the application of standard and new techniques and a working knowledge of basic sciences involved, e.g., anatomy, chemistry, histology, microscopy and basic immunology.
- Record procedures performed and document findings.
- Perform complex innovative stains such as immunoperoxidase and serve as a technical consultant in this area by reviewing new techniques appearing in technical journal and reference books.
