You will be a Staff Dentist with the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Dental Service, located at 8410 Datapoint Road, San Antonio, Texas. You will be responsible for the diagnosis, management and treatment of oral/dental disease that does not require the expertise of a dental specialist. This includes treatment planning, restorative dentistry and dental procedures. Main clinic is at Data Point and must be able to work at ALMD, Randolph and ALMD Gem Clinics when needed.

Duties include: Performing all phases of dentistry including but not limited to restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, periodontics (open flap and grafting procedures), endodontics (nickel-titanium rotary instruments), Cerec restorations, oral surgery, and limited orthodontics including Invisallign; Performing placement and restoration of osseointegrated implants using over denture attachments, CAD/CAM patient specific abutments, CAD/CAM bar, hybrids; Making implant radiographic and surgical guides and reading cone beam x-rays; Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and post treatment care in all the above areas; Working with Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Dental Lab Technicians, and Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residents.
