    Summary

    You will serve as the NMIO Maritime Domain Integration (MDI) Policy Advisor to lead the Executive Secretariat (EXECSEC) support to the interagency policy initiatives and implementation activities of the National Maritime Domain Awareness Executive Steering Committee (MDA ESC). Lead and conduct interagency maritime policy integration, maritime information sharing outreach, and engage the Federal Interagency, U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), academia, think tanks, the private sector, and foreign governments, i.e. the Global Maritime Community of Interest (GMCOI), in support of Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and the National MDA Plan

    All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

    Responsibilities

    • You will participate in and guide Federal interagency efforts to implement the objectives of the National MDA Plan, and propose, develop, and implement collaborative solutions to the National MDA challenges.
    • You will promote global maritime security, MDA, and maritime intelligence integration through U.S. and international maritime forums.
    • You will develop, organize, lead, facilitate, and execute follow-up actions for national and international level maritime engagement meetings and symposia.
