    This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Administrative Management and Operations Branch  HQ Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of analysis, development, testing, and implementation and recommendation of technical IT related implementation and support of Divisional automated tools and systems. 

    The candidate selected will be offered a term appointment not-to-exceed two years, which may be extended to a maximum of four years based on workload requirements and organizational staffing authorizations.Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

    Provides senior-level expertise and guidance necessary to lead in projects, toward the development, implementation, and maintenance of examination systems and reporting tools used by the FDIC.

    Provides expertise in analyzing, developing, and implementing automated tools in the examination application.

    Develops automated work products and partners in the implementation of business process reengineering efforts using Business Process Management/Dynamic Case Management tools, workflow, and web technologies. Programs medium-sized automated examination and reporting applications and actively supports the development of broad-based automated applications.

    Design, develop and implement applications with databases including writing and editing queries; with business process redesign including the use of collaboration and workflow tools; with SQL Server, DB2, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, and related programming tools.

    Serves as a technical developer responsible for all phases of the system development life cycle from project initiation, design, development through implementation. Analyzes the impact of proposed solutions across existing technology platforms. Works with other FDIC divisions and contractors to define/modify tools, systems and applications.

    Participates in design discussions and develops business capabilities. Develops tools and systems including automated business processes, reporting, and job scheduling to support the division’s examination and supervisory effectiveness and efficiency.

    Maintains working relationships with DCP staff and with personnel from other divisions to develop examination and supervisory applications and tools.
