You will serve as the Supervisory Optometrist with the Boise VA Medical Center. You will provide comprehensive care for patients who have illnesses within the scope of Optometry. This is a supervisory position with administrative responsibility for the management of the Staff Optometrists and Health Technicians who function within assigned program areas. You will assist in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures; develop individual or group goals and objectives; monitor, operate, evaluate, coordinate and oversee the Optometry Staff; and oversee the clinical competence and proficiency of eye technicians as well as perform performance evaluations.
