The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Legal Intern Program is a program developed to provide highly qualified and motivated candidates opportunities to experience professional positions in FRA. The positions are summer positions housed in the Office of Chief Counsel. This program is designed to create challenging career opportunities within our agency to recruit, retain, and promote growth within the federal workplace.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess: strong organizational skills as well as research and analytic skills and the ability to identify and resolve legal issues; strong oral and written communication skills and experience; and the capability to handle multiple projects, activities, and issues simultaneously.
This opportunity is open to current students seeking a degree in Law. You will be required to provide documentation to support eligibility. Students must be enrolled, seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) in a qualifying educational institution, on a full or half-time base, and have completed at least two semesters of law school.
