    Responsibilities

    Incumbent operates heavy earth moving equipment, grounds, snow removal equipment. finsh equipment includes a road grader, front end loader with attachments to include an industrial snow blower attachment, backhoe, dump truck with tandem axles and manual transmission, boom truck, GLG man lift truck, tool cat with attachments, and other associated engineering equipment. Incumbent also assists the motor vehicle operators when required and transports patients to various appointments when other drivers are unavailable. Passenger vehicles operated include 4x4 vehicles, wheel chair assist and stretcher vans. This position also requires incumbent to operate dirt packer, hand mowers, weed eaters, chain saws as well as other tools for various job assignments to be completed. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance of the heavy equipment he operates maintaining preventive maintenance and assisting the mechanic with overhauls and complex repairs. This position requires working with laborers, journeymen, and contractors for various job assignments, filling for the vehicle operators and other duties as assigned.



    Work Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm
