Provides advice and support to the Sr. Strategic Planner for the planning, development and execution of a change management plan to implement AIR's Blueprint and Comprehensive Strategic Plan.
Aides management in pre-decisional involvement during strategic planning discussions. Discussions may involve decisions that may affect working conditions of the workforce, including bargaining unit employees. Supports the effective outreach and collaboration of the strategic plan by developing a variety of different briefing materials.
Supports ongoing collaboration with critical stakeholders within the FAA, bargaining units, and industry.
Ensures completion of stakeholder engagement and Change Management (CM) related tasks with other offices, including, but not limited to: tracks and maintains status of CM business plan items, analysis of CM metrics and data reviews, CM communications messaging, etc.
The incumbent applies a comprehensive knowledge of the principles of program management and strategic planning to integrate the work of multiple organizational units/projects/programs to accomplish mission objectives, Uses web applications for business plan reporting and maintenance.
The incumbent supports management with assessment of stakeholder engagement priorities and advises on critical activities to support stakeholders. Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate effectiveness of the change. Makes recommendations based on emerging trends and internal business process changes. Ensures that milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Performs gap analysis of long term change program efficiency and effectiveness, and conducts research and data analysis to assist in effective decision making which could include bargaining proposals with multiple bargaining units.
Regularly participates and facilitates management meetings related to strategic planning and organizational alignment. Conducts outreach and works with stakeholders to ensure that strategic goals are effectively measured, monitored, and adjusted based on service performance and internal/external influences.
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV H, FG/GS 12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience supporting change management activities and strategic planning by ensuring project, program or change initiatives meets objectives.
