Become a part of a prestigious and elite Agency created by Congress in 1935 to administer the National Labor Relations Act, the primary law for relations between unions and employers in the private sector. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Finance Branch. The principal objective of the Finance branch is to provide Agency-wide central accounting and financial management services to the Agency; to provide accurate and timely financial reporting, produce auditable financial statements; and to provide financial management support to Agency program offices. This position is the principal system accountant for the Agency and is responsible for developing, designing and improving the accounting and financial systems (Federal Financial System-FPS) utilized within the NLRB by implementing operating procedures.
