    Summary

    You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Directives and Records management Division (DRMD) of FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION.

    Responsibilities

    • You will develop for the Department of the Navy (DON) commands, contractors, and other DON agencies policy and procedures for declassifying 25 year old permanently valuable records that are archived.
    • You will coordinate classification and declassification decisions using Disclosure Authority, Department of Defense, and Information Classification standards
    • You will research and interpret Executive Orders, federal law, and Deptartment of Defense and Deptartment of the Navy regulations and directives to assist with decisions involving overall policy, guidance, and coordination for the Command.
    • You will develop and plan policy and procedures that determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department of the Navy (DON) declassification programs
    • You will assign work to employees/subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of the assignments and capabilities of employees.
    • You will interpret written guidelines to reflect applicable laws, current Executive Orders (EO) and statutes with other policy issuances by the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and other Federal agencies.
    • You will respond for the Directives and Records Management Division (DRMD) on functions and explain the Declassification Program, procedures and activities to high level officials.
