This position is located in the Office of Emergency Communications (OEC), Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C). You will serve as a Computer Scientist, and in this capacity, you will:
- Assist in the development of software systems using knowledge of techniques, procedures, and processes such as operating system theory, data structures, computer system architecture, software engineering, and computer communications in an agile development environment.
- Maintain data base structure utilizing languages such as SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle 11g.
- Work with stakeholders to convert user requirements into user stories for evaluation in an agile scrum.
- Maintain cybersecurity in accordance with DHS directives and guidance.
- Plan and implement a rigorous testing program to verify and validate new IT capabilities and delivery of IT solutions.
-Review technical documents for technical correctness and alignment with organizational goals.
