    This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Service (DHHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), Office of Management (OM), Silver Spring, Maryland.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the IT support staff with the planning, developing, coordinating and implementing activities to facilitate customer service support related to the Center's IT needs.
    • Assist with customer support services to include installing, troubleshooting, and responding to help desk tickets and customer assistance and/or training in response to customer needs.
    • Assist in researching, evaluating, and feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer IT support requirements.
    • Assist with providing technical advice and guidance on IT solutions to meet customer support needs and FDA policy needs.
    • Assist with drafting and reviewing communications, developing and delivering presentations and providing training regarding the Agency and Center's IT processes.
    • Assist with the assessment and Center's IT needs regarding identifying deficiencies, and evaluating the feasibility of new features and functionality in terms of meeting Center/Agency requirements.
    • Assist in testing and providing feedback and recommendations for FDA software, systems and hardware rollouts.
