Merit Promotion, VEOA
Consolidate and organize budget estimates from program managers.
Assist managers with budget justifications.
Reconcile account activity with monthly financial reports.
Transfer funds between appropriations and operating accounts correctly.
Maintain, balance, and categorize accounts in an electronic accounting/financial system to assist with year end budget closeout.
Track and monitor use of organization base funding accounts.
Track and monitor use of special funding accounts.
Perform fee collection audits, and review audit results.
Use standard accounting procedures to verify accuracy of budget work.
Provide technical assistance to others in formulating and executing current year operating programs.
Create and manipulate data in electronic budget/financial system.
Prepare recurring and special summary reports on specific areas of the budget.
Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
