Reviews, analyzes and evaluates programs, functions and processes to ensure that work performed is essential and contributes to the accomplishments of NCS objectives and overarching goals. Recommends solutions to insure efficiency of operations and facilitate improvement. Works on a variety of day-to-day practical management problems and issues. Gathers and analyzes facts, data, and sales trends, and is part of the group that prepares recommendations including determining appropriate format and reporting methodology for the dissemination of management information to Senior Contract Specialists, Chiefs, or the Director of the Service, as well as higher VA management officials. The incumbent plans, and coordinates meetings, symposia, and conferences. Assist with the formation of agendas, coordinates all participants within the NAC, VA national headquarters, other federal agencies, and industry representatives, when applicable. Facilitates and coordinates travel, meeting and conference space, resources, and availability. The incumbent also represents the NCS at NAC functions, conferences and meetings to include industry partners, other government agencies and customers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The subject position is primarily of an administrative nature in an office setting, however where travel to work sites is required there may be light physical work required, such as walking over uneven surfaces, or assisting technical personnel in taking measurements or elevations. Government travel for training, meetings, or customer interactions will be required in this position.
