ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Source Directorate serves the information needs of the intelligence, defense, and foreign policy communities and provides leadership on substantive issues, operations, tradecraft development, analytical tools and techniques to its partners and GEOINT customers worldwide. NGA's Requirements and Integration Analysts create, collect and broker authoritative GEOINT content and services based on customer needs and powered by their unique command of the GEOINT supplier market, unparalleled tradecraft expertise, and cutting-edge technology to support national security priorities. They establish brokering services that return value-driven solutions to customers from diverse supplier markets, lead modernization and innovation to create authoritative content and deliver content and services to customers when, where and how they need it. Applicants must have a solid foundation in analysis and research with a working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and/or international issues preferred. The successful candidate will build and maintain professional relationships with other NGA offices and external partners, and brief senior level leaders when required. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to apply new methods and technologies to solve intelligence problems. Most positions are located at the NGA Campus East in Springfield, Virginia.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination in order to maintain access to Top Secret information. All employees are subject to a periodic examination on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examination may result in denial of access to Top Secret information, SAP, and/or unescorted access to SCIFs.
Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Failure to comply may negatively impact continued access to Top Secret information, Information Systems, SAP, and/or unescorted access to SCIFs.
NGA utilizes all processes and procedures of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Non-executive NGA employees are assigned to five distinct pay bands based on the type and scope of work performed. The employee's base salary is established within their assigned pay band based on their unique qualifications. A performance pay process is conducted each year to determine a potential base pay salary increase and/or bonus. An employee's annual performance evaluation is a key factor in the performance pay process. Employees on term or temporary appointments are not eligible to apply for internal assignment opportunity notices.
This position is a DCIPS position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Combination of Education and Experience: Education and experience in systems engineering, requirements management, GEOINT operations, remote sensing, geography, Intelligence, or equivalent areas. As a rule, 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of college education is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 6 years. -OR-B. Experience: Six years of significant applied experience in systems engineering, requirements management, GEOINT operations, remote sensing, geography, Intelligence, or equivalent areas. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Far visual acuity of 20/60 or better binocular with or without corrective lenses; Near visual acuity of 20/50 or better with or without corrective lenses.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Experience working as part of a cohesive team with demonstrated high quality results or output; 2. Personal flexibility and adaptability for shifts/changes in crisis situations enabling the successful handling of unforeseen challenges inherent to working in a high-visibility environment; 3. Must be able to work independently while managing diverse functions in a high ops-tempo environment.
