    Responsibilities

    • You will provide advice to other trials directors on issues related to planning and execution of trials and mentor junior staff on issues related to the execution of Code 853 tasking
    • You will be responsible for the overall trials planning, coordination of TDAAS development and installation, execution of the trials, data analyses and reporting
    • You will serve as a senior naval architect focusing overall technical management of full scale surface ship hydrodynamic performance trials and the first-of-class Performance and Special Trials of the DDG 1000
    • You will identify measurements and specify data collection system requirements to conduct full scale hydrodynamic performance trials
    • You will mentor and supervise other employees on details of program management, best trials planning and execution practices, trials data collection and analyses systems, correlation testing, and data analyses tool selection/use
    • You will plan, execute and manage teams to plan and conduct major Performance and Specials Trials with an emphasis on surface ship hydrodynamic performance trials
