As a Instructional Systems Specialist at the GS-1750-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
-Serving as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for multiple contracts which include duties such as developing Statements of Work (SOW), monitoring contracts to ensure services are provided.
-Collaborating with Education Directorate staff to design and execute professional learning that will build schools' capacity to implement Blueprint for Continuous Improvement priorities.
-Designs instructional strategies of proposed solutions that adhere to adult learning theory and includes evaluation strategies that ensure achievement of the performance objectives.
-Leading and facilitating professional learning sessions focused on teacher and principal leadership roles and responsibilities focused on improving student learning results regarding implementation of DoDEA's standards based educational system. Building and maintaining effective communication and work relationships within and across DoDEA professional groups and national organizations.
-Increasing collaboration with region, district, and union leadership to enhance investment in creating and implementing quality professional learning.
-Managing complex projects that require end-to-end analysis, design, development, implementation, and continual improvement of performance support systems and instructional products in instructor-led, virtual, and blended models.
-Performing program management, monitoring, and evaluation to support professional development planning and implementation in alignment with identified need and student achievement.
