    Summary

    About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Support Activity, located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

    Responsibilities

    • Recommend to correctly resolve common security shortfalls in a variety of situations.
    • Conduct scheduled inspections at contractor facilities to evaluate the safeguarding of classified information.
    • Develop security procedures and makes decisions based on a clear understanding of the goals and objectives of established security policies.
    • Provide assistance to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security oversight and support to the contractors and contracting agencies.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - Temporary Duty (TDY) travel (CONUS and OCONUS) may be required at 25% or less of the time.
