This position is located in GAO's Information Technology (IT) team, which leads efforts to help the government address important challenges by working to build the government's capacity to manage IT and to manage the collection, use, and dissemination of information in an era of rapidly changing technology. Typical entry-level duties include:
Participating on a team to conduct IT audits and IT audit-related work evaluating federal information management and technology program areas such as privacy, systems acquisition and development, investment management, federal information security, enterprise architecture, and cyber critical infrastructure protection.
As a team member, you would be responsible for managing your own work by planning, prioritizing, and/or balancing own work assignments as well as identifying feasible work management approaches that address required activities and timelines.
