Physical Effort: Work is both sedentary and physical. May need to work in awkward positions or in confined spaces. The incumbent must be in good physical condition, and possess good coordination and endurance. Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
Working Conditions: Work may be performed both indoors and out in all types of weather. Temperature extremes range from 90 to 100 degrees in summer, down to 10 to 20 degrees in winter. Hazards include exposure to electrical, plumbing,· confined space, and other building system hazards. Must be willing to wear prescribed PPE.
The National Park Service has determined that the duties of this position may be suitable for telework during an emergency or natural disaster.
