    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a medical professional performing a wide variety of duties associated with the compilation and analysis of diagnostic and therapeutic data as they pertain to medical conditions cases primarily, but not exclusively, related to mental health issues being considered by the Air Force Review Boards Agency (AFRBA).

    • Applies clinical knowledge of occupational medicine and/or mental health to analyze applicant/appellant?s records and provide a professional opinion to adjudicators and policy makers regarding medical conditions.
    • Reviews and performs thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis of individual records, providing a detailed written advisory and/or oral presentation of the medical conditions as well as policies and laws that have pertinence in a contended case.
    • Serves as an analyst and action officer to the SAFPC. Analyzes military personnel, court-martial, and medical records in addition to records of courts, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and information submitted by the applicant and counsel.
